The Strategy-to-System Split™

What the business has become and what the infrastructure can actually hold are no longer the same thing.

There's a point where an established business starts looking more evolved than it feels to operate.

From the outside, everything can look good. Behind the scenes? You're still manually connecting pieces. Your messaging doesn't quite match the work anymore. Your website has been updated so many times that nobody remembers why it's structured that way. Your content gets attention but doesn't reliably move people toward offers. Your SEO strategy and conversion strategy live in separate universes. Your CRM, email, scheduling and website technically connect, but you're still the person making sure everything gets where it belongs.

Is this just a website redesign?

This isn't "my website feels old." There are plenty of reasons to dislike your website. That doesn't mean you need a $30K+ rebuild.

If the foundation is good and something specific isn't performing, Projects con Intención may be enough.

If you don't know what's wrong, a Strategic Cafecito may be the right first move.

If the ecosystem is fundamentally sound but the business changes quickly enough that it needs ongoing oversight, Base Fuerte Advisory may make more sense.

Sites, Strategy y Systems con Intención™

The 3×3 method behind the rebuild.

I don't start with pages. I start with intention. Because a website, funnel or automation can technically work and still be completely wrong for the business it's supposed to support.

Sites, Strategy y Systems con Intención™ is how I close the Strategy-to-System Split™. We work across three connected domains: Narrative, Strategy and Systems. And we move each one through three phases: Define, Design and Refine.

NarrativeWho are you now, who's this for and why should they trust it?

This is the identity layer. Your positioning, voice, values, offers, goals and capacity. The business you're trying to build. Before we create the infrastructure, we need to know what that infrastructure is supposed to support.

StrategyHow does someone go from stranger to decision?

This is the translation layer. Research, SEO, UX, customer journey, conversion logic, content pathways and technology decisions. Strategy takes what the business means and turns it into a path someone else can follow.

SystemsWhat needs to happen when you're not there?

This is the operational layer. Automations, CRM, lead flow, tracking, scheduling, handoffs and backend workflows. Systems make sure the promise on the front end can be supported behind the scenes.

DefineMeaning before motion.

Before we build something, we determine why it needs to exist, what it needs to accomplish and what constraints it needs to respect.

DesignIntention becomes structure.

We map the journey, create the hierarchy, connect the pieces and determine how the experience needs to function.

RefineWe make it sustainable.

We test decisions against real goals, behavior, data and capacity. We cut noise. We make sure what we're building doesn't just look impressive on launch day. It needs to make sense to operate afterward.

3 domains × 3 phases = 9 strategic moves. Together, they give us a way to build the ecosystem as one connected thing instead of treating your website, marketing and backend like separate projects.

The Process

01

Prescription y Scope

Project beat

This is not a pick-a-package project. Before I quote the rebuild, I need enough evidence to understand what needs rebuilding. That may come from your inquiry, a qualified referral or an existing working relationship where the need is already clear. If it isn't clear yet, a deeper Strategic Cafecito can get us there first. Then we define the problem, scope, required pages and systems, responsibilities, timeline, approval points and definition of done.

02

Define

Define phase

We establish the intention before touching implementation. Who are we building for? What are we building toward? What does the business need to support? What does success look like? What should we stop carrying forward?

03

Design

Design phase

Then intention becomes architecture. Customer journey. Site structure. Messaging. UX. Conversion paths. SEO. Technology. Backend flow. This is where the pieces stop being separate decisions and start becoming an ecosystem.

04

Build y Sync

Project beat

Then I build the agreed-upon experience. Copy. Design. Development. Optimization. Systems. Connections. Automations. Tracking. Whatever the approved scope requires to turn the architecture into something operational.

05

Refine

Refine phase

We test what we built against the actual goals. Does the journey make sense? Do the systems work? Does the data come through? Does the frontstage match the backstage? Does operating this thing create capacity or another job? We refine against reality.

06

Launch y Stabilize

Project beat

Then we launch and enter a defined stabilization period. We test the important paths, catch issues related to the work we built and make the agreed-upon launch refinements.

And then: the rebuild ends. Yes, the project ends.

A Website con Intención creates the agreed-upon infrastructure for the business we scoped. It doesn't make me permanently responsible for every future evolution of your company. New offers will happen. Positioning will evolve. You'll hire people. You'll have ideas. You may decide at 11:47 p.m. that the website obviously needs seventeen new pages. That's business. It isn't automatically part of the original rebuild. New work is new work.

If the business needs ongoing stewardship after launch, we can determine whether Base Fuerte Advisory makes sense. If it doesn't, you graduate.

What the Rebuild Can Include

Every Website con Intención is custom scoped. Depending on the prescription, that may include:

Website con Intención · scope scheduleSheet 02 · custom scoped
Strategy

digital ecosystem strategy, positioning refinement, customer journey, conversion strategy, site architecture, offer-to-site alignment, platform recommendations.

Copy y Content

messaging strategy, agreed-upon website copywriting, calls to action, conversion copy, SEO-informed content and migration planning where needed.

Website

UX, wireframes, visual design, responsive design, development, forms, lead capture, approved integrations, QA and launch.

SEO

research, SEO-informed architecture, on-page optimization, metadata, redirects where required, technical foundations and measurement setup.

Systems

lead-flow architecture, approved automations, CRM and email connections, scheduling and form workflows, tracking, backend handoffs and documentation.

The proposal determines what is included. "Full ecosystem" means I can work across the ecosystem. It doesn't mean every possible marketing, technology or business need is included for one flat price.

What Isn't Automatically Included

Unless your proposal specifically includes it, the Website con Intención doesn't automatically include:

  • unlimited pages
  • unlimited copywriting
  • unlimited revisions
  • brand identity design
  • photography
  • videography
  • ongoing content production
  • social media management
  • paid advertising
  • complex custom software
  • unlimited automations
  • every tool in your tech stack
  • ongoing SEO
  • ongoing reporting
  • ongoing maintenance
  • future offers and funnels that didn't exist when the project was scoped

If we uncover something genuinely necessary during the rebuild that materially changes the amount, complexity or nature of the work, we stop and discuss it. We either adjust the existing scope appropriately or create a change order.

Nobody is relying on vibes.

If we don't know whether we need to rebuild, we diagnose before we demolish.

Start with a Strategic Cafecito

This Is Probably for You If

  • Your business has materially evolved but the infrastructure hasn't.
  • You're piecing together multiple generations of website decisions, messaging, marketing and backend systems.
  • You've reached the point where fixing one piece exposes problems somewhere else.
  • You're tired of coordinating separate people who each understand their piece but nobody understands how the pieces need to work together.
  • You want someone who can move from positioning to customer journey to copy to SEO to website to backend without losing the thread.
  • You're ready to build around the business you're running now.

This Probably Isn't for You If

  • Your existing foundation is fundamentally good and needs a contained optimization.
  • You already know one specific thing needs fixing.
  • You primarily want a cosmetic redesign or a good new site on its own. (That's Projects con Intención.)
  • You need unlimited ongoing production.
  • Your business model is changing every few weeks.
  • Or you don't know whether the infrastructure itself is the problem.

Website con Intención FAQ

What's a Website con Intención?

A strategic rebuild of the digital ecosystem behind an established business. Not a website redesign with some strategy attached. We rebuild around the business you're running now, which may include positioning, messaging, customer journey, site architecture, copy, UX, design, development, SEO, lead capture, automations, analytics and backend workflows.

The method is Sites, Strategy y Systems con Intención™: three domains, three phases, nine moves, built as one connected thing.

How much does a Website con Intención cost?

Rebuilds start at $30,000. Every rebuild is scoped to the strategy, copy, pages, systems, integrations and complexity the prescribed ecosystem requires. Your proposal defines the final investment, timeline, payment structure and scope.

Can I hire you for the rebuild directly?

Yes, by inquiry or referral. Before I quote a rebuild I need enough evidence to know what needs rebuilding. That can come from your inquiry, a qualified referral or an existing working relationship where the need is already clear. If it isn't clear yet, a deeper Strategic Cafecito can get us there first.

If we don't know whether the infrastructure itself is the problem, we diagnose before we demolish.

Is this just a website redesign?

No. Plenty of people dislike their website and don't need a $30K+ rebuild. If the foundation is good and one thing isn't performing, Projects con Intención may be enough. If you need a good new website without rethinking everything around it, that's a Project too. If the ecosystem is sound but the business changes fast, Base Fuerte Advisory may make more sense.

This is for the Strategy-to-System Split™: when what the business has become and what the infrastructure can hold are no longer the same thing and patching the gap costs more than rebuilding it intentionally.

Does the project ever end?

Yes. We launch, enter a defined stabilization period, test the important paths, fix issues related to the work we built and make the agreed launch refinements. Then the rebuild ends.

New offers, new hires and 11:47 p.m. ideas about seventeen new pages are business, not automatically part of the project. If you need ongoing stewardship after launch we talk about Base Fuerte Advisory. If you don't, you graduate.

What isn't included?

Unless your proposal says so: unlimited pages, unlimited copywriting, unlimited revisions, brand identity design, photography, videography, ongoing content, social media management, paid ads, complex custom software, unlimited automations, every tool in your stack, ongoing SEO or ongoing reporting.

If we uncover something genuinely necessary mid-rebuild that changes the work, we stop and discuss it and either adjust the scope or write a change order. Nobody is relying on vibes.

I really liked that we revised copy for my different graduation pages. I felt really good sending the pages out knowing that they were more specific. Adding that specific info about locations and schools just makes it feel more expert, more personal.

I'm just very happy that I'm on the first page now. I feel confident that it should go higher once I start adding more photos and blogging.
